About Us

The Association for Information Management Students, called AIMS, is a student organization within the iSchool that serves full-time and mid-career students in the Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) program. Our goal is to improve the academic, career, and social experience for both current students and alumni. We plan a series of student events each year to achieve those goals, and we meet with the MSIM program committee, iSchool Student Leadership Council, and the graduate student senate to address issues on students’ behalf. 

AIMS depends on students with initiative to shape our activities every year. If you are interested in participating in bettering our experience together, please reach out and we will find a way for you to get involved. In addition, AIMS elects a group of officers each year. Internal Relations Officer – Maria George

  • Goal for AIMS: To liaise with my peers to organize and promote events that will make their MSIM experience a memorable one.
  • Future Career Goals: A data enthusiast, I want to be a Data Scientist/ Analyst to help business make informed decisions from large amount of data.

Technology OfficerPriya Sudendra
