AIMS seeks to meet the needs of MSIM students, so we try to hold events that are relevant to building our community and our careers. Examples of past events include Skill Share workshops, holiday celebrations, and alumni panels to name a few!

AIMS is committed to dismantling institutional barriers through our events, meetings, and outreach. We seek to uphold the iSchools commitment to confront and take action against any expressions of racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia, religious discrimination, or any other instances of bias, microaggresions and discrimination to build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive School and community. Our Diversity Officer works closely with Cynthia Del Rosario, the Programs Advisor for the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access & Sovereignty (IDEAS) to improve the integration of these commitments in our activities and outreach. You can find more information on IDEAS and other resources here. For any questions or concerns about AIMS commitment to diversity, please email us.
